Club History
Windy Arbour Badminton Club is a very sociable club that prides itself on making lasting friendships and we have the collective ambition to enjoy an evenings badminton regardless of whether we are playing club nights or competitive matches. We take our badminton seriously but ensure first and foremost that we have fun.
We made the decision to continue playing throughout the summer after closing our 2022/23 badminton season. Our Summer Season 2024 proved very successful but has now completed. We have now started our new season that will run from September 5th 2024 through to May 2025. Further details can be found on our Club Nights page
WABC now has a lively and balanced community that spans age ranges and abilities. However, we are still very keen to encourage new members and therefore welcome visitors to Windy Arbour that have previous badminton experience. We are open to new enquiries during our current season. Please complete our contact us form if you are interested. We believe that you will enjoy some entertaining and active badminton and hope that you will subsequently join the club as a full member.
Castle Farm Leisure Centre
We play at the all new state of the art Castle Farm Leisure Centre in Kenilworth on a Thursday evening. Our competitive season schedule starts in September each year and this years schedule can be accessed at Home Night Schedule 2024/25.
Windy Arbour book four courts at the Leisure Centre 8pm until 10pm for club nights and start home matches at 7pm in order to combine the match and club schedules with minimal disruption. This allows enough court time for all club members to get a full evening of badminton alongside the match play.
